Our Story

In 1992, the owner of Techway Automotive began his career in the automotive service industry. He spent considerable time and effort learning as much as possible and gaining practical experience to give customers the best customer service and auto repair services. He opened his own shop in 2010. It was a 5000-square foot building with six bays, and it was run by Brian, his wife Michelle, and his son Brent Ordway. Under Brian’s leadership, Techway Automotive outgrew its original shop and began looking for something larger that would better fit the needs of the company and the community. They settled on relocating to a 34000 square foot building with 35 bays and have since expanded to three locations to better serve their community. The goal of Techway Automotive has always been to provide better-than-expected service for all its customers. Since they’ve been voted the best repair shop in the area, Brian and his team feel safe saying they’ve done what they set out to do. Techway Automotive is the shop every other shop recommends when they encounter a repair they cannot complete. Not only will they fix it right the first time, but the team at Techway Automotive offers a three -year/36,0000-mile warranty on their work.

Techway Automotive and the Community

Brian and his team believe in community involvement. You may have noticed their sponsorship of several local high school sports teams. The Techway Automotive team also strives to support the local church groups. Techway Automotive is active in the Chamber of Commerce Spotlight on Business and even won “Best of Show” for 2022. The Techway Automotive team won the Best of the Wiregrass with the Dothan Eagle 5 consecutive years (2018-2022). In all, you’ll find the staff and team at Techway Automotive friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and talented, no matter what automotive maintenance and repair services you and your vehicle require. They want their customers to feel like family, and so they treat the customers like family. The Dothan and Blakely stores even gave free oil changes for anyone in the healthcare field during 2020. You can also take advantage of the after-hours drop-off and pick-up services at Techway Automotive. The team wants you to be able to have your vehicle maintenance and service needs met on your schedule as much as possible. There is free WiFi in the waiting room if you wait for your vehicle.
